Great Smoky Mountains Portrait Session
Abbie and Jackson have been friends of mine since college when they were still living in Tampa. We had just started to become closer when, to my dismay, they moved. Over the last few years, they have made their way further and further north, finally landing in Knoxville, TN this last year. Even though it’s hard having friends in other states, it always provides a reason to visit them and when those friends have the Great Smoky Mountains in their backyard, that makes visiting a whole lot easier!! We had a great weekend and I’ve got plenty more photos to share from our explorations on Saturday (stay tuned).
We just barely caught the last of the sunset glow on Friday evening before it hid behind the mountains on the Foothills Parkway. I wanted to keep shooting and shooting! So I guess that means we’ll have to make our way back again soon. Certainly no one is complaining about that!
Both Abbie and Jackson are talented photographers and Jackson is a videographer as well. Abbie has a fun blog called Wanderings & Beautiful Things, and you can follow along on her Instagram! They both have a passion for travel, art, photography, and film… maybe that’s why we get along so well 😉 These two have been married seven years, enjoyed countless adventures already, and just bought a house! I love the way they make each other laugh and compliment each other so well. Every couple deserves to have some beautiful images at every stage of marriage and I’m thankful we had the opportunity to shoot some portraits for them while we were in town. Love you Abbie & Jackson!

Thanks for reading!
XO, Emma
