The Ringling Museum Sarasota
As I sit here and type this out, I’m reflecting back on this time last year when I met Cesar and Isabel at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. They were celebrating an intimate elopement; a change of plans due to COVID-19. They had a sweet first look to start things off before we did some “family formals” with Isabel’s son Emmanuel. Despite the scorching heat and Florida humidity, we made our way around the grounds for beautiful portraits, ending with a few by the gorgeous Ca’ d’Zan. After our time at the Ringling Museum, they kindly invited us to join them at Pier 22 for some delicious food and we had a great time laughing and chatting about being married and what a whirlwind last year was! They even had a little cake for dessert with a cake topper that screamed “2020” (you don’t want to miss at the end!!).
The best part about reflecting on Cesar and Isabel’s day this time last year is knowing how I began my day today. This morning, I had the joy of photographing newborn photos for their one week old son Calian. It’s moments like these when I realize how blessed I am to be able to share these milestones with my couples. So enjoy these select favorites from their Ringling Museum portrait session and stay tuned for Calian’s debut on the blog next week! You don’t want to miss it!!
