In-Home Newborn Session

As a wedding photographer, one of the sweetest feelings is when one of your brides reaches out after their wedding. I had the honor of celebrating Cesar and Isabel’s elopement with them last year at the Ringling. When Isabel messaged me and said they were expecting and wanted to do newborn photos, I was over the moon!

We had the best morning catching up since the wedding and loving on sweet Calian. He is so precious – you just never get over that newborn smell and their tiny little ears and hands! Also, Isabel is one of the most beautiful new mothers I’ve ever seen. We captured a few mother-son shots at the very end of the session that are stunning. I know I’ve said this before, but, both maternity and newborn sessions are such a humbling reminder of how amazing women are. Women carry this little tiny human inside of them for 9-months, give birth (so amazing), and then produce the very sustenance their baby needs to continue to grow and develop. To be able to witness this unique and special relationship between a woman and her child during these sessions is indescribable and I’m so thankful for the families who have let me into their worlds for that very purpose. Dad’s are pretty awesome too and I could go into a whole thing about the bond between a father and their child, but I’ll just leave you with the task of smiling at the shots of Cesar and Calian.

Thank you for including me in this amazing milestone for your family, Cesar and Isabel! We love you guys!
