Bella Cosa Lakeside Wedding Editorial

Mar 22, 2022

Modern Renoir Spring Wedding Editorial

This Bella Cosa Lakeside wedding editorial was inspired by one of my favorite Renoir paintings from 1866, ‘Spring Bouquet’. A description of this painting reads, “A riot of flowers cascades from a Japanese willow pattern vase that sits on worn paving stones, the petals and leaves bright with the warmth of the sun.” The goal for this shoot was to evoke imagination and freedom as we step into spring. I wanted to create an editorial shoot that merged whimsical with traditional elements for modern brides looking for a sentimental touch of romance.

Being at the Bella Cosa Lakeside wedding venue is like transporting to Europe. From the beautiful bridal suite to the outside terrace, it’s the perfect venue for couples who want their guests to feel like they’re on vacation without having to fly somewhere. As you scroll down the page, I hope you feel like you’re gazing at an intimate wedding in the French countryside. It was a joy working with The Apostolic Wife to coordinate the shoot and bring everything together on the day-of! We are both obsessed with florals, so after we met with the florist Meredith from Spring Vine Orlando, the full concept became real. Meredith knew exactly what I wanted from the start and her floral design was out of this world.

Some of my favorite details include the dusty blue patterned envelope lining in Emily’s stationary, the delicate beading on the Bella Belle heels and the way the lace hangs delicately on the Delana Muse Charlene gown. I love the little tassels on KLM’s custom seating chart and the gold rimmed glasses in Oak & Ash’s tablescape. Kloie’s hair and makeup by SMP was perfection and I couldn’t have asked for better models. Each and every vendor went above and beyond!

Until the next one, XO

Words cannot describe my gratitude to all of the wonderful vendors who brought this vision to life!
