When you invest in me as your wedding photographer, you're trusting me to preserve the memory of one of the biggest days of your life! It wasn't until my husband and I got married in 2019 that I really began to understand the gravity of it. I definitely don't take my job lightly!
Everything about weddings makes me smile. I love all the feminine details, the unique stamp each couple puts on their decor, the anticipation of the first look, the joy, the tears, the florals, and the stunning portraits. It's all so special and worth remembering. Throughout the months leading up to a couples wedding, I love getting to know them better and understanding their journey as a couple that led them to their marriage. Every day, I pray for my couples and their families and that I will be able to serve them at my very best ability!
So keep on scrolling for a bit of insight into the experience I walk through with all my couples! I hope to get to meet you and your fiance and celebrate with you!
This fun wedding day took place in downtown Tampa at the Tampa River Center! This cool venue is right across from the riverwalk and Armature Works. The entire venue has the downtown as the backdrop!
My favorite part of the day was bride & groom portraits down at the docking area that overlooks the downtown skyline at sunset...it was just perfect! As you scroll through the gallery, you'll see what I mean! They are the best at doing model shots.
I met Kyle & Samantha through my husband, actually.; Kyle worked with him. They've now moved all the way to California! We hit it off right away and it was a pleasure getting to know them during their wedding journey.
Riccardo & Lauren's wedding was romantic and intimate. The amount of attention to detail in order to create Lauren's vision for their day was simply breathtaking. She picked the perfect venue at Stark Farms in Lutz, FL.
My favorite part of their wedding day was the experience of sharing a meal under the branches of the large oak trees and the glow of the stars. Their wedding took place during the midst of the pandemic, so they couldn't have everyone with them they originally planned to be there. It made the day even more meaningful for those who were part of it, including the moments of face-time with Riccardo's family in Italy. They were the sweetest couple who treated me like part of their family and I'm so thankful to have spent this day with them!
This day....y'all, I can't say enough about this sweet elopement with Cesar & Isabel. As you can imagine with it being a wedding day in the midst of the crazy year we call 2020, it wasn't exactly what they had in mind when they got engaged, but that didn't put a damper on the day in the slightest. They chose The Ringling estate in Sarasota, Fl for their portraits; just look at the stunning architecture!
My favorite part of this day with them was when Cesar saw Isabel for the first time. We re-created a first look; Cesar had never seen her in her dress. So it was so sweet when he turned around and started getting emotional. Isabel's son was also part of the festivities and he was such a champ to walk around with us most of the time at the Ringling while we took portraits.
There were many blessings that came out of the stress of 2020 and this day was one of them!
Brian & Laura got married at the White Chapel near Clearwater, Fl and it was my first time shooting at this venue as the primary shooter. Wow, did I love it!! The sunlight at the time of day right after their ceremony provided the most stunning portraits before we headed to their reception venue at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa.
Also, how beautiful is Laura? The day was so sweet from start to finish. The love they have for each and for the Lord was the focus of the whole day and you could definitely feel the spiritual connection they had through their ceremony. It was an honor to be part of it!
My favorite part of the day, hands down, was sunset portraits! Cody has perfected his veil tossing skills at this point and it shows. The sky and their silhouettes...you just don't get any better than that.
Remember how I said that good photography is the result of a bride and groom working with a photographer they trust? There is no one-size-fits-all couple OR photographer!
The first step I take with ALL my couples is to meet for a chat, either in-person or over zoom, and get to know one another better! After getting to know you, I'll determine whether or not we're made to be.
So we're made to be, yay!! I can't wait to walk through the wedding journey with you and capture this milestone!
